A few miles north of Downtown Kansas City and lying just south of the Missouri River lies the Rivermarket District. The River Market has been a place where people have gathered for dining, entertaining, shopping, living and working, since the 1800's. The River Market is home to the areas largest farmers market, where local area farmers set up on Saturday and Sunday mornings bringing the areas freshest produce to your front step. Beginning in the mid 90's the River Market witnessed an explosion in new housing and retail and has maintained a cultural feel that no other place can offer.
